Sacred Art and Yoga Teacher Training

For yoga teachers, artists, healers, therapists, and everyone interested in the healing power of yoga and art.

Learn to facilitate art and yoga as complementary practices. If you are a yoga teacher, come explore creative-arts exercises to deepen your students’ experience. If you work in the arts, discover simple yoga techniques that enhance creative focus and flow.

Develop your approach to art and yoga as you

  • Combine movement, sound, and writing with art and Kundalini Yoga (no previous yoga experience required)
  • Work effectively with images, difficult emotions, relationships, and physical challenges
  • Tailor formats to individuals and groups in a safe, sacred space
  • Work with natural and traditional media including henna, kolam (ground pigment drawings), water-based paints, and recycled paper beads
  • Take home a handmade mala and other art projects.

The art exercises you learn here can be used with any style of yoga, meditation, or healing.

Note Tuition includes art supplies and a training supplement to Hari Kirin Kaur Khalsa’s book, Art & Yoga: Kundalini Awakening in Everyday Life. Please bring a copy of the book to the program or purchase one in the Kripalu Shop.
