Showing up for each other’s liberation is sacred—and often overwhelming—work. Deep solidarity requires that we each cultivate our inner resources. When our souls are well nourished, we are infinitely more available for creativity, connection, insight, and wonder.

Come explore mindfulness not only as a way to find inner peace, keep our hearts buoyant, and protect our spirits, but as a strategy for moving toward collective liberation. Through meditation, chanting, and discussion, activist and Buddhist meditation teacher Kate Johnson helps you grow your capacity to meet difficulty with fierce compassion, and keep going. Kate has worked with frontline change-makers and direct-service providers for more a decade, helping them recover from burnout and trauma fatigue, and she has organized meditation and yoga communities to turn their wise intentions into compassionate action.
