The Science and Practice of Positivity Resonance Embodied Positive Psychology Summit Master Class

Note This program is part of the Embodied Positive Psychology Summit. Find out more here.

For everyone.

Love draws you out of your cocoon of self-absorption to attune to others. Love allows you to really see another person, holistically, with care, concern, and compassion. Within each moment of loving connection, you become sincerely invested in this other person’s well-being, simply for their own sake. And the feeling is mutual. You come to recognize that, in this loving moment, this other person is also sincerely invested in your well-being; that they truly cares for you. Relationship scientists cast this sense of mutual care as an abiding attribute of intimate relationships.

In her book Love 2.0, Barbara Fredrickson redefines the vital emotion of love as micro-moments of positivity resonance between and among people. This Master Class offers a unique opportunity to explore the scientific underpinnings of positivity resonance in ways that bolsters its value for human health and well-being. Complementing the science, you also explore practical approaches and practices for unlocking more love in everyday life.
