Let yoga move you through the rhythms of the Sabbath, a day of sacred rest and refreshment. Asana practice serves as your guide to embodying essential qualities of the Sabbath using the uniquely integrative approach of Shabbat Yoga. Rabbi Myriam Klotz offers active yoga flows, restful restorative sessions, and Jewish spiritual teachings about the day of rest to inform your practice.

Using the sacred practices of asana, the study of sacred texts, and song, this program explores themes such as restful noticing, having enough, tasting satisfaction in the present moment, cultivating joy, trusting the breath, and working with the resistance that may arise when you aim to let go of being busy and doing in order to rest and be present.
