Join Kripalu lead faculty Yuval Samburski for a journey into the life-changing possibilities of this ancient book. This program offers a unique chance to dive deep into a study of this celebrated scripture with a light heart, open mind, and authentic curiosity. 

Through pranayama, meditation, restorative yoga, and sangha discussions, you will 

  • Engage in relevant self-care practices to accompany your philosophical study 
  • Unpack the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, a 2500-year-old text, in an accessible way 
  • Learn and understand some staples of yogic philosophy as described by Patanjali 
  • Embark on a spiritual journey toward deeper understanding of yourself.

Note This program is suitable for students as well as teachers of yoga. Its hours are recognized and can be counted towards Yoga Alliance higher education hours. Please bring a copy of The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali with you to the program. A specific version is recommended below but other versions of this texts are also warmly welcomed.
