You can practice taijiquan for decades and only scratch the surface of this remarkable Chinese martial art—or you can get to the heart of it right away. Rick Barrett’s mission is making the hidden mysteries of taijiquan accessible, even to beginners. This program allows you to directly experience qi, effortless power, and the expanded awareness that comes from regular practice.

Learn the short, powerful form known as Yang Cheng Fu’s 13 Original Postures, and receive an introduction to the internal power that animates the form. Rick’s book, Taijiquan: Through the Western Gate, provides the foundation for a lifelong practice that is both a moving meditation and a proven method of self-healing. A short, daily practice can make you calmer, stronger, more supple, and more present. Come ready to work—and to laugh.​
