Teaching and Living the Yoga Sutras An Intensive Practice Retreat

For 200-hour-certified yoga teachers from all traditions.

Yoga teachers are like mountain guides who are able to lead others up paths that they have already traveled. Fine-tune your ability to serve as a guide in a training that examines the primary paths to well-being outlined in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.

Lecture, discussion, and writing complement experiential practice of asana, pranayama, meditation, and silent contemplation. Enhance your felt sense of yoga’s essence, a connection that can guide you as you guide others, while you learn to

  • Bring yoga theory off the page and into your personal practice
  • Grow your ability to apply the skills you develop in yoga to the challenges of everyday life
  • Create classes and workshops based on themes that emerge from your practice and your lived experience of yoga.

This program may be taken as part of Kripalu’s 1000-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, or as a standalone program.
