Join author and internationally-acclaimed educator, yoga therapist, and founder of Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy, Michael Lee, and experienced yoga therapist and lead faculty member of Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy, Sarah Greco, for a program that helps couples value their differences, listen with empathy, and connect more deeply—all with a safe and embodied yoga therapy approach. This training is specifically geared toward yoga therapists, mental health professionals, yoga teachers, and health professionals.
Derived from the long-established Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy, this specialized training skillfully integrates the wisdom of yoga and Buddhist practices and psychology with contemporary best practices for bringing the body to therapy and applied neuroscience. Through guided practice, group work, and lectures, you will learn how to safely facilitate or guide
- Partner yoga experience for couples that will increase presence, awareness, and understanding of the dynamics in their relationship
- A dual process that takes into account the external structure and dynamic as well as the internal process
- An embodied and empathetic dyad dialogue for couples focused on deep listening
- Acceptance and valuing of differences through an embodied approach
- Integration of embodied awareness from the couple's session into effective life action.

Note This program is for yoga and mental health professionals who wish to apply an embodied yoga therapy-based approach in their couple's work. The approach is ideal for enhancing relationships that are not in immediate crisis, and with couples desirous of deepening their connection through a more embodied, transformational, and spiritual focus.

Michael Lee, MA, is a master educator and yogi who founded Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy in 1985 after many years of deep yoga practice. He is the author of Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Turn Stress Into Bliss.
Full Bio and ProgramsSarah Greco has worked in wellness and yoga for more than 20 years. For the past ten years, Sarah has worked with Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy as a lead faculty trainer and Dean of Students for their IAYT-accredited yoga therapy training program.
