Using yoga poses that are scientifically linked to increased flexibility and healthy cartilage, Medical doctor Loren Fishman and yoga therapist Gabriella Barnstone provide a definitive medical yoga program for the management and prevention of arthritis.

In this program, you explore the most important joints, including those of the spine: their structure, their function, what goes wrong, prevention practices, and how to soothe joints when the time for prevention has passed. Loren and Gabriella believe that arthritis and yoga fit together like a lock and key. Arthritis restricts movement; yoga increases range of motion. Loren Fishman on Teaching at Kripalu


Loren Fishman, MD, BPhil (Oxon), author of 10 books and 96 papers, studied yoga with B. K. S. Iyengar. He teaches at Columbia University and has a private practice in New York City.
