Yoga Do’s and Don’ts for the Hips and Knees

People often look to yoga as a means to alleviate hip and knee symptoms. But these joints can sometimes present a challenge, as they are frequently a source of pain and limitation in yoga practice. While yoga can be helpful in alleviating hip and knee discomfort, it is crucial that you know how to address each issue.

In this program, Loren Fishman and Gabriella Barnstone provide you with a solid understanding of the do’s and don’ts of yoga for the hips and knees. You learn

  • Which poses can help with hip and knee problems
  • The poses that should be avoided if you have certain knee or hip conditions
  • Workarounds that are helpful in each case
  • How to spot practices and pitfalls that endanger these joints in your students and clients.
