Yoga for Low-Back Pain Certification Course

For everyone; see prerequisites for certification below.

Come explore a new, yet tried-and-true method developed by medical doctor Loren Fishman that uses specific yoga poses for each of the seven fundamental causes of back pain and scoliosis. Loren has practiced physical medicine for more than 40 years and was a student of B. K. S. Iyengar. He has combined his knowledge of yoga and Western medicine to develop a method for treating back pain and has successfully treated many patients in this manner.

Led by Gabriella Barnstone, who has worked with Loren for more than four years, this program includes daily Q&A with Loren by video conference. Anyone who is interested in finding solutions to their own back problems, as well as yoga teachers, yoga therapists, and other health professionals who wish to help others with back issues, are welcome.
