Yoga for Low-Back Pain Certification Course

For everyone; see prerequisites for certification below.

This program conveys a new, yet tried-and-true, method to use specific yoga poses for each of the seven fundamental causes of back pain and scoliosis. Loren Fishman has practiced physical medicine in New York City for more than 40 years and was a student of B. K. S. Iyengar. He has combined his knowledge of yoga and Western medicine to develop a method for treating back pain and has successfully treated many patients in this manner.

This program is led by Caryna Wong, who has worked with Loren for more than seven years, and Tina Paul, a yoga therapist who also works in his office. The program includes daily Q&A with Loren by video conference.

This course is appropriate for anyone who is interested in finding solutions to their own back problems or yoga teachers, therapists, and other health professionals who wish to help others with back issues.
