Yoga for Mood Management LifeForce Yoga Practitioner Training

For yoga teachers, medical and mental-health professionals, and massage therapists.

LifeForce Yoga® covers appropriate use of yoga for all mood issues, from daily energy swings, to disorders like anxiety, depression, trauma, and bi-polar; this includes discussion of scope of practice, working in a team, and when to refer out. . LifeForce Yoga is an accessible, empowering, evidence-based yoga protocol to help students and clients focus, relax, and have greater access to feeling states.

This training offers strategies for home practice and clinical settings that safely release chronically-held physical tension, repressed emotions, and symptom management. Come learn

  • Accessible, yoga-based interventions for emotional and energetic balance
  • Anxiety-, depression-, and trauma-sensitive yoga using practices other than postures to empower emotional balance for clients and students
  • Breathing and meditation practices that address stress, depression, and anxiety
  • Asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), kriyas (cleansing), mantra (chanting), bhavana (visual imagery), sankalpa (intention and affirmation), mudra (hand gestures), meditation, yoga nidra (yogic sleep), therapeutic holding of postures, and nondual strategies for working with negative self-talk
  • Somatic strategies for clinical practice and yoga classes to increase clients’ self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-esteem
  • Self-care strategies for maintaining healthy boundaries, recovering your energy, and self-inquiry for clarity.
