Yoga Retreat for Women of Color: Be Real, Be Fresh, Be Free

For women.

Fresh
To move
cleanly.

Needing to be
nowhere else.
Wanting nothing
from any store.
To lift something
you already had
and set it down in
a new place.

Awakened eye
seeing freshly.
What does that do to
the old blood moving through
its channels?
–Naomi Shihab Nye

This summer marks the platinum year of the Yoga Retreat for Women of Color™! For 20 years, women of color have gathered in this sacred circle at Kripalu. This collective experience is freeing to the soul, like a dream that manifests into reality, shining bright.

Join Maya Breuer and guest presenters to explore ways to freshen your life from the inside out with Yin, restorative, and vinyasa yoga, sound healing, meditation, and dance...

  • Be cool, be steady, be brave, be in your feelings, be up, be down, be curious
  • Be joyous, be smart, be funny, be subjectively beautiful, be sharp, be unique, be open
  • Be soft, be wickedly funny, be angry, be brilliant, be clumsy, be aware.

Be real. Be woke. Be you!

Note Please bring a journal to each program session.
