A Yogic Solution to Osteoporosis

For all levels, no yoga experience needed.

We often think of yoga as focusing only on flexibility. In this program, Terry Roth Schaff and Karen Abramson  put an emphasis on building strength and stability as they guide you through a safe yoga practice to build your bone density and keep your bones healthy, no matter your level of experience or physical limitations.

This is a special opportunity to discover your patterns—how you sit, stand, walk, and move—and how changing some of these patterns can reduce your risk of bone fractures. Learn ways to become more stable and reduce the risk of falling as you bring your body into better alignment. Terry and Karen provide be ample time to practice these new skills so that you can return home with a safe, bone-building yoga practice tailored to you.
