Is Your Story Making You Sick? Meditation and Mindfulness for Stress and Illness

For everyone.

Explore how awareness practices are used to reduce stress and cultivate health and happiness. Understanding the nature of your mind and how to influence it through meditation may provide as much, or more, therapeutic benefits as conventional medicine.

Mark Pirtle is the producer of the documentary film Is Your Story Making You Sick? and the developer of Skillfully Aware®, an evidence-based program for stress relief that teaches

  • How the mind’s narrative affects emotions, health, and habits
  • Awareness practices to monitor thoughts and sensations
  • Mindfulness-based attunement to cultivate healing and change in yourself and your relationships
  • Ways to use attunement therapeutically to relieve stress and heal stress-related illnesses, including insomnia, depression, anxiety, addictions, chronic pain, and more.

Return home knowing how to embody a full, clear, and equanimous awareness.

Note This program includes a screening on Saturday evening, open to all Kripalu guests, of Is Your Story Making You Sick.
