Zentangle Beyond Basics Tangling Outside the Box

The Zentangle Method is a beautiful collision of structure and chaos. Its simple steps nurture our creative insecurities, yet also encourage us to trust in the process and take our practice into uncharted territories. It pushes us to not fear so-called mistakes, but rather see them as seeds for new opportunities. It invites us to “color outside the lines” and to rely only on those strokes that we put down ourselves. It teaches us that our unique marks are not only beautiful but important because of their uniqueness.

In this three-day workshop, you will tangle “outside the box”. Use fun materials and spend hours indulging in tangles as you

  • Play and create with this theme both in our artwork and metaphorically
  • Dive deep into a Zentangle technique called fragments and reticula
  • Explore grid patterns in traditional ways as well as new and unconventional ways.

Whether it was a so-called mistake or flash of brilliance that lead you here, take a chance to see what could happen when you not only "think outside the box" but actually “tangle outside the box".

Note Previous experience with the Zentangle Method is highly recommended. All supplies are included in this workshop.
