It’s National Cooked Water Day!

April 1st is National Cooked Water Day, and if you’re one of the holdouts who’s been drinking your water raw, you’re in for a real treat. Cooked water not only tastes better, but it’s better for you. It’s lighter, more purifying, and provides a host of health benefits, from clearer skin to optimal digestion. Plus, it’s locally sourced from your nearest faucet, vegan, and gluten free!

Okay, just kidding … April Fool’s! But seriously, from an Ayurvedic perspective, cooked water is no joke, as you’ll see in this video from Erin Casperson, Dean of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda.
