Kripalu’s 28th Annual Yoga Teachers Conference Exploring the Therapeutic Benefits of Yoga

Scholarship eligible.

For yoga teachers from all traditions. CE credits available (see note below). Members of the Kripalu Yoga Teachers' Association also get an additional 20% off housing (standard or dormitory) when you book. Please call registrations 866.200.5203, and just let them know you're a member.

This year’s annual conference focuses on the therapeutic benefits of yoga, and how they can be applied for special populations, in mixed-levels classes, and in one-on-one or small-group sessions. Yoga teachers and yoga therapists will take home evidence-based tools for promoting their students’ and clients’ health and well-being.

Along with keynotes by Kripalu legacy-holders Stephen Cope and Richard Faulds (Shobhan), and a photographic exploration of the power of yoga with Robert Sturman, the conference boasts a lineup of top-tier presenters, who offer valuable insights on the various therapeutic facets of yoga. Workshop topics include

  • Neck and back care with Carol Krucoff
  • Yoga and science in pain care with Marlysa Sullivan
  • A master class with Ann Swanson on arthritis and asana
  • Plus-size–friendly yoga with Rachel Estapa
  • Yoga nidra with Jennifer Reis
  • An exploration of subtle anatomy with Ellen Schaeffer
  • Yin Yoga and meditation with Brahmani Liebman and Jashoda Edmunds.

Each year, we schedule the conference to coincide with one of the most beautiful times of the year in the Berkshires: the fall foliage season. This highly anticipated event is a reunion, professional development opportunity, and mini vacation all in one!

Note Kripalu will waive the CE credit fee for KYAA members for Yoga Alliance CE certificates.

You must select your workshops when you register. View workshop schedule with descriptions.
