As part of our ongoing efforts to amplify the voices and lived experiences of historically marginalized and appropriated communities who have not been adequately supported in our field, we are proud to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as part of our Black History Month at Kripalu.

This MLK Day, join us for a magical event guided by leading Kripalu community members: Kiesha Battles, Maya Breuer, and Reggie Hubbard.

The program is themed in alignment with The King Center 2026, Mission Impossible II: Building Community and Uniting a Nation the Non-Violent Way.

The evening’s session includes:

A welcoming tribute and Dharma talk with Maya.
A Sonic Tonic: Soundbath featuring Still & Mindful Movement co-led by Reggie and Kiesha.
A closing community circle.

FAQs

Most are live on Zoom with opportunities to interact with teachers. Many also include recordings you can watch later for a set time (often 30 days), but not all — always check the program page.

You will have access to the video recording(s) for 30 days after the program ends. All recordings will be available within 72 hours of the end of each session.

A stable internet connection, Zoom access, and space to practice. For yoga/embodied programs, having a mat, props, or a chair is helpful, but not required.
