Suzanne Duran Crelin

Bio

Suzanne Duran Crelin, LMSW, RISE™ facilitator, has served in the fields of education and healing arts in several roles: teacher, principal, professional developer, yoga therapist, and mindful education coach. Presently she is a school social worker and restorative practice facilitator at an environmental/social justice high school. Suzanne is both clinician and teacher, specifically working with school communities, to integrate healing-centered, trauma-informed practices to create systems that support both individual and cultural flourishing. 

Suzanne is a member of New York University’s Mindful Education Lab and has partnered with researchers from the Yale Child Study Center on a magnet school pilot study. She has presented at the Association for Educational Service Agencies’ national conference, New York University’s from Risk to Resilience conference, and at several universities. Suzanne is a graduate of Simmons University, Columbia University, and New York University.
