Tending and Mending
A spring retreat on being with grief

Discover Grief’s Wisdom
Grief moves through every life. It moves through loss, change, and all the quiet, personal, or systemic thresholds where life rearranges itself. Grief can be collective too, gathering in the cracks of the truths too heavy to hold alone.
Join grieftenders AmarAtma, Reggie Hubbard, and Akilah S. Richards for an experiential gathering that welcomes the full range of grief. Together, we’ll explore what it means to be in relationship with grief rather than in resistance to it. This gathering is about letting go of the stigma surrounding grief, making space for its wisdom, and building a bigger, stronger heart muscle.
In this program, you’ll be invited to:
- Move and breathe with your grief, letting your body speak what words can’t.
- Witness and be witnessed in a circle of shared humanity.
- Listen for the teachings inside your sorrow.
- Discover how somatic movement and breathwork can offer relief.
- Find your paths toward mending and tending.
Aligned with the energy of the spring equinox, this experience invites balance between what is dying and what wants to live. You’ll leave with a deeper trust in the ways grief continues to shape, soften, and strengthen who you are becoming.
