Tam Terry
Presenter
Tam Terry, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, is a graduate, mentor, and faculty member of the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy. She is also a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Instructor through Brown University Center for Mindfulness. Tam has been teaching alignment-based vinyasa, restorative yoga, and therapeutic disciplines of mindful movement since 2003. She helps students access increased flexibility, strength, and joint health through healthy body dynamics. As a former CMO and business leader, Tam is uniquely attuned to the demands and stresses of the workplace. She focuses on helping people to live full, authentic, and balanced lives by integrating traditional practices with evidence based research and embodied knowledge. Tam has taught in a variety of settings ranging from Fortune 500 Companies to universities and hospitals. She was an international presenter of Yoga Therapy programs at the Geneva Yoga Festival in 2019, a 2017 NAACP award recipient, and received Mayoral Recognition for her community work with Yoga for Good, which she founded in 2016.
