Yoga Retreat for Women of Color Solidarity

REFUEL YOURSELF

“Women of Color is not a biological designation. It is a solidarity definition. A commitment to work in collaboration with other oppressed women of color who have been minoritized. It is a term that has a lot of power.”—Loretta J. Ross

Join Maya Breuer, Kiesha Battles, Sation Konchellah, and Dianne Bondy, and be reminded of the power of our solidarity.

Through the practices of yoga, mindfulness, Indigenous rituals, music, dance, poetry, healing circles, meditation, and restoration, you will be stewarded by people of color as you:

  • Gather, support, unite, and experience collective joy.
  • Share cultures, histories/herstories, and spiritual practices.
  • Embrace what it means to be a woman of color (women whose bodies color the spectrum of yellow, brown, and black).

Bring your mother, aunt, sister, friend, or any woman who is open to embracing the definition.

NOTE: This program is open to all those who identify as women.
