The Longest Relationship
A retreat for siblings
Laugh, Play, Reflect
Sibling relationships are often the longest relationships of our lives. Often shaped by shared caregivers, environments, and histories, they carry significant influence—yet they are rarely given intentional space for reflection, nurturing, and growth.
This unique weekend experience is for adult siblings who wish to deepen your connection, develop together in your physical and mental health routines, and relate to one another with greater understanding, compassion, and presence.
Co-facilitated by siblings Hawah Kasat and Madhuri Kasat Shors, MD, this retreat blends contemplative practice, guided dialogue, meditation, partner yoga, and experiential exercises to support meaningful exploration of the sibling relationship. Through laughter, play, and appreciation, you will reflect on childhood roles, communication patterns, unspoken narratives, how your shared upbringing continues to shape who you are, and how you relate to one another today.
In this program, you will experience:
- Play and laughter
- Appreciation for yourself, your sibling, and the bond you share
- Exercises to reflect on childhood sibling roles, communication patterns, and unspoken narratives
- A compassionate and heart-centered community setting
This retreat welcomes relationships that are close, complicated, distant, or loving but unspoken. While the primary focus is on biological siblings, chosen siblings and chosen family members who share a sibling-like bond are also welcome. Whether you are seeking deeper understanding, renewed connection, or simply meaningful time together, this program offers a supportive container to reflect on the past, relate more consciously in the present, and imagine new ways of being siblings together.
