Part 1: Supporting the Pregnant Client with Ayurveda
September 7–12, 2025, on campus
Enhance your ability to guide clients through this sacred journey with Ayurveda’s deeply rooted, time-tested approach to pregnancy and postpartum wellness. In this on campus experience, you will traverse:
- How to cultivate an optimal environment for conception and pregnancy
- A comprehensive 40-day Ayurvedic postpartum care regimen
- Postpartum herbal therapies and nourishing recipes to aid recovery
- Foundational Ayurvedic care for newborns at birth
NOTE Pre-requisite: must hold a certificate as an Ayurveda Health Counselor or greater. This program is also eligible for 28 NAMA PACE credits.
Part 2: Seminars in Perimenopause
October 2–November 6, 2025, online
Guided by expert instruction, this seminar series will explore the intersection of Ayurveda and modern medicine, offering practical tools for supporting women through perimenopause and beyond. What you'll learn:
- Integrated Ayurveda & Menopause Care: A holistic framework for supporting women in perimenopause and beyond
- The characteristics of menopause based on dosha predominance
- The missing links in the Western medical model—and how to integrate both perspectives
- Identifying common discomforts of perimenopause and Ayurvedic strategies for restoring harmony
- The role of nutrition in hormonal balance and long-term health- key herbs and foods to support energy, digestion, and overall well-being
- The relationship between libido and ojas- signs of depletion, and ways to restore it
- The role of emotional and spiritual well-being in menopausal health and ways to fins support
NOTE: Pre-requisite: Foundations of Ayurveda strongly encouraged. This program is also eligible for 12 NAMA PACE credits
Part 3: Ayurveda, Menopause, & Longevity: A Four-Day In-Person Experience with Kate O'Donnell
December 10–14, 2025, on campus
Join Kate O'Donnell, a respected Ayurvedic practitioner and author, where you’ll dive deep into the Ayurvedic wisdom of menopause and longevity. In Community of Women, you will:
- Apply Ayurvedic wisdom of rasayana for women: how to age with vitality
- Tailor your daily and annual routines for hormone balance and longevity to strengthen and empower yourself and other women
- Embody healing through Yoga and pranayama practices for the menopause transition and longevity
- Comprehensive understanding Ayurveda anatomy of the female generative system, women’s hormonal health through the perimenopause stage of life, and menopause
- Sleep, Food, Exercise: supportive tools during mid-life and beyond through diet and lifestyle
- Herbs for perimenopause and menopause health: introduction to herbal protocols for the menopause transition
- Menopause and the mind: effects of this transition on mind – embrace change and find ways to navigate the brain fog or anxiety
NOTE: Recommended Pre-requisite: Foundations of Ayurveda encouraged. This program is also eligible for 22 NAMA PACE credits.
