Miles Borrero
Presenter
Miles Borrero is a transmasc, nonbinary, Latinx yoga teacher, writer, and craniosacral therapist. A spirit and body geek, he has studied many yoga masters such as: Raghunath Capo, Margi Young, Ana Forrest, Schuyler Grant, Michael Stone, Alan Finger, Eric Shiffman, Rod Stryker, Maty Ezraty, Rusty Wells and Sean Johnson and The Wild Lotus Band. He is an anatomy aficionado who fuses his vast knowledge of the body, classical technique, and understanding of philosophy to deliver a wholehearted and creative practice. He is passionate about dismantling the learned systems within ourselves that keep us small and using our yoga to create inclusive spaces where difference and diversity become our super powers.
Prior to the pandemic, Miles taught daily at some of New York City's premier studios including the Kula Yoga Project, Prema Yoga, and Pure Yoga. Currently he teaches at St. Marks Yoga, online, and in teacher trainings at festivals across the United States such as the Sedona Yoga Festival. You can also find Miles on online platforms such as Embodied Philosophy, Om Stars, Haus of Phoenix, Yoga Anytime and Yoga International. Miles is the debut author of the memoir Beautiful Monster: A Becoming and lives in New York City with his partner and his beautiful dogs.
