Miles Borrero

Presenter

Miles Borrero is an New York-based E-RYT 500+ senior yoga teacher, embodiment guide, speaker, music-maker, craniosacral therapist, and author who has studied, practiced, and taught the science and philosophies of yoga, meditation, Buddhism, and tantra for over 25 years. As an embodiment educator, Miles draws from his extensive studies in anatomy, breathwork, and movement to teach people accessible and practical ways to down-regulate their nervous system in order to increase their resilience to the stressors of modern life.

His work centers around embracing the most essential parts of ourselves as a path to lead whole-hearted, purpose-filled lives steeped in meaning and connection. To that end, he wrote a magical realism memoir, Beautiful Monster: A Becoming, that synthesizes his understanding of yoga from a personal point of view, bringing out the universality in these teachings and making them accessible to anyone searching to live closer to their purpose. As a Latiné, queer trans immigrant and citizen of the world, Miles is a passionate advocate for dismantling the systems within (and without) ourselves that keep us small.
