Nita Prasad

Nita Prasad is an associate director at Brandeis University’s investment office, which manages the university’s endowment. As part of that effort, Nita is involved in manager selection, oversight, and portfolio construction across a variety of asset classes including credit, venture capital, and certain public equity vehicles. Prior to working at Brandeis, Nita worked in media private equity investing at Veronis Suhler Stevenson for several years. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. While at Harvard, Nita was a senior researcher working with Professor Noam Wasserman on his upcoming book.

An avid student of yoga since 1999, Nita holds her 500-hour teacher training certification from teachers Natasha Rizopolous and Eka Ekong. She first came to Kripalu in 2012, and has been fortunate enough to attend many workshops there since then. When sessions break, you're most likely to find Nita enjoying a steaming-hot Kripalu “Buddha bowl” filled with fresh kitchari and ghee, wandering along one of many forest trails, or relaxing with a shirodhara treatment. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with her husband, Arvind, and their chocolate labrador, Summer.
