School of Integrative Yoga Therapy

Overview

For more than 20 years, the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy has trained yoga therapists in merging ancient yoga practices with evidence-based protocols. As a yoga therapist in this emerging healthcare profession, you will be trained to develop classes and individualized instruction that utilize yoga’s most powerful tools to treat a myriad of issues. Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy provides students with the necessary skills to bring yoga therapy into mainstream healthcare, treatment, and wellness approaches in ways that are safe, accessible, and effective.  As proven vehicles for wellness, healing, and transformation, yoga and yoga therapy have been successfully incorporated into settings such as hospitals, schools, universities, assisted living facilities, veteran centers, medical offices, and mental health clinics. Whether in group settings or one-on-one sessions, yoga therapists know how to custom design a suite of effective therapeutic yoga practices to address special populations wrestling with specific conditions.
