Mary Hannah Parkman

Mary Hannah Parkman, RYT 200, teaches nature-inspired workshops and programs for Kripalu, incorporating art and mindfulness. Mary Hannah holds a bachelor’s in studio art and media and society from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She also studied art abroad in Pietrasanta, Italy. She believes everyone is an artist; and enjoys creating an environment where people feel free to explore creative expression. Art is a vehicle for her own self expression, and she uses a variety of medium including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and photography. Mary Hannah has been a student of yoga and meditation for 15 years, and a certified yoga teacher since 2010, teaching yoga and meditation to children and adults. She finds yoga and meditation strengthen her connection to inner wisdom and bring joy and mindfulness to life off the mat. Mary Hannah also guides hikes, snowshoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and SUP yoga at Kripalu. She loves sharing her passion for the outdoors with newcomers and enthusiasts alike.
