On Campus Programs Presenter & Faculty-Led ProgramsAn in-person program at Kripalu that takes place on campus in a supportive, immersive setting. Gather for guided learning, practice, and reflection over the course of the program.To see if you qualify, review listed criteria on the application form. Once you have submitted the application, you will be directed to a list of programs currently offering scholarships, where you can select and register for the program you wish to attend. Please note that scholarships are limited to one on campus and one online per person annually. Rooted in the living lineage of Kripalu teachings, R&R programming offers practical tools and experiences drawn from ancient wisdom and adapted for modern life.Please note that scholarships are limited to one on campus and one online per person annually. Apply for Overnight ScholarshipApply for Day Pass Scholarship Schools Trainings Kripalu Schools are committed to supporting individuals interested in enhancing their life and realizing their full potential through yoga, yoga therapy, Ayurveda, and mindful outdoor leadership regardless of background or financial status. Financial assistance is offered when funding is available.Currently, limited scholarships are available for certain entry- and advanced-level trainings in each Kripalu School. Kripalu Schools Application Process If you’re interested in a Schools Scholarship, the first step is to apply to the training. Go to the web page of the training you are interested in and click ‘Apply Now.’ In your eligibility acceptance email, you will receive a link to the Scholarship Application Form if scholarships are available for that training. Once your scholarship application is accepted, you will receive an email with a link to register for your program at a discounted rate (see below for details on Schools Scholarship discounts). Please note that this acceptance is not a guarantee of registration with the scholarship. The email indicates you are eligible for a scholarship and you must still complete the online registration to secure your spot. The link remains live until all scholarship spots have been filled. Full program cost is due at the time of registration. Please note: Scholarship applications will not be processed without prior program acceptance and are awarded first come, first serve on a rolling basis. Thus, those who apply early have the best chance of securing available financial support. Not all trainings have scholarship spots available and availability is subject to change year to year. Schools Scholarship Discounted Rates: Partial scholarships are awarded for select Schools trainings. Scholarships typically cover 50% of tuition and dorm accommodations (if applicable). If you choose housing other than a dormitory, you will be responsible for the full cost of housing. Schwartz Teaching for Diversity Fund For over 25 years, the Teaching for Diversity grant has planted the seeds for inclusive, purpose-driven healing by supporting graduates of Kripalu Schools to bring the teachings of yoga, yoga therapy, Ayurveda and nature connection into their communities. It’s a movement powered by love and supported by the generosity of our donors. We are incredibly grateful for the charitable efforts of the Jonathan P. Schwartz family who have underwritten the TFD grant since 2020. Jonathan P. Schwartz was a businessman, yogi, and longtime Kripalu guest. He loved Kripalu, and he believed deeply in investing in people and projects aimed at delivering yoga to people and places who might not get it otherwise. He and his wife Marcella Fischer were among the first donors to TFD, and his family continues to support the program in Jonathan’s memory. Read Jonathan’s story. Kripalu supports its alumni in facilitating an initiative which serves historically marginalized and/or appropriated communities, nonprofit leaders, first responders, or frontline workers, including educators & health care professionals. Participants receive mentoring, training, and financial resources to implement the initiative in the form of a $5,000 grant. The Kripalu alumni community includes a vibrant network of yoga teachers, advocates, leaders, and agents of social change in the world who help Kripalu advance its mission daily to serve people and communities in realizing their full potential through the transformative wisdom and practice of yoga. In the spirit of collaboration, we extend this invitation to stay on campus for up to five nights annually.It is important to us that the Stockbridge-Munsee people always have a welcome place on our campus as we evolve into our vision of Kripalu’s future. Scholarships for Past Residents of the Kripalu Ashram Kripalu has a rich history and long lineage, starting with the 1913 birth of Swami Kripalu in India, leading up to the educational non-profit retreat center that we are today.As a way of honoring our legacy, we offer scholarships to full-time past residents of the ashram. In the spirit of collaboration, past residents are invited to stay on campus for up to five nights annually. We welcome past residents as an embodiment of our history, and as a way of keeping our lineage alive and well on campus as we evolve into our vision of Kripalu’s future.
