The Evolving Wisdom of the Body
A somatic yoga retreat
Listen Closely to the Body
This program is an invitation to slow down and listen to what your body has been quietly communicating all along. It is an opportunity to evolve your relationship with your body and yourself. Instead of asking, "How do I do this pose?" we begin by asking, "What is my body teaching me in this moment?”
Join Bobbie Ellis and Karin Weinstein and discover the body as a living landscape of sensation, intelligence, and possibility. Throughout the weekend, they will guide you through an integrated exploration of somatic movement, yoga, breathwork, embodied meditation, restorative practice, and reflective inquiry. You'll learn how habitual patterns of effort can soften into greater ease, how awareness can become your greatest teacher, and how small shifts in perception can enliven the whole body.
As your practice evolves, you may discover:
- Greater freedom and fluidity
- A deeper trust in your body's innate wisdom
- Greater nervous system regulation and emotional resilience
- A more refined awareness of breath, sensation, and subtle movement
- Renewed curiosity, creativity, and joy in your practice
- Adaptability in each phase of practice
Together, we will explore somatic yoga as a living practice of awareness, inviting curiosity, responsiveness, and presence. As we deepen our capacity to sense from within, movement becomes more fluid, breath more spacious, and our relationship with ourselves more compassionate and authentic.
