Fire in Yogic Tradition

Reprogramming through ritual

Outdoors group

From Sacred Ritual to Self-Transformation

Fire has long been honored in Yogic tradition as more than a physical element. It is understood as a sacred force of purification, transformation, and inner clarity—shaping how we digest, discern, and live with purpose.

This weekend features specialized yoga and meditation classes led by Himalayan master Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu, exploring the element of fire as it functions within the body, mind, and subtle system. Through embodied practice, you will experience how fire influences vitality, discernment, and inner steadiness. This program also offers teachings on the rituals and symbolism at the heart of authentic Yogic tradition. Guided by Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu, Kal Prakashini Ji, and Adi Shakti Ji, you will explore the fire element as it appears across Vedic and Yogic traditions, Ayurveda, and the inner journey of self-transformation.

Learn about the role of fire in Yajña, its expression within the Chakra system, and the 13 fires of Ayurveda that support digestion, vitality, and mental clarity. Discover the meaning behind Fire Ceremony chants, the purpose of ritual tools, the role of Sankalpa (sacred intention), and ways simple, respectful practices may be integrated into daily life.

The weekend also includes traditional Fire Ceremonies and devotional practices drawn from Vaidik-Tantric Himalayan lineage. Through these experiences, ritual is approached not as performance, but as a means of inner reprogramming—refining will, releasing what no longer serves, and aligning with Dharma, the steady flame of right action.

In this program, you will:

  • Practice yoga and meditation with Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu, exploring fire as an inner principle.
  • Learn how fire functions in Yogic philosophy, Ayurveda, and ritual.
  • Understand the symbolism and meaning of traditional Fire Ceremonies.
  • Learn what Sankalpa is and how intention functions in Yogic practice.
  • Participate in guided Fire Ceremonies and devotional practices.
  • Reflect on how ritual supports clarity, purpose, and Dharmic living.

No prior experience with Fire Ceremonies is required. This program is appropriate for yoga practitioners and teachers, meditation practitioners, those who want to share culturally aligned practices, students of Yogic philosophy and Ayurveda, and those curious about ritual as a transformative inner practice.
