Carolyn Michelle Smith is an actor, educator, and producer, best known for her role as Deja on Showtime's The Chi. A Washington, DC native, she trained at Fordham and Juilliard, and made her Broadway debut in Romeo and Juliet. Her TV credits include Russian Doll and And Just Like That. Carolyn is developing a feature with FANDOMODO and teaches acting at Cornell University. She is also a founding member of the Juilliard Black Alumni Association.
