A native of Maine, Phil received his Finance degree from the University of Maine.  Following two stints in the Peace Corps, a seven-year period as a farmer,  and a four-year period as an investment advisor, Phil returned to school, earning his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, and started a new career in fiscal management of non-profits, first in theater, healthcare and higher education, before starting at Kripalu in July of 2025.
