Bio
Sandrine Harris shares dynamic experiences of embodied presence, creativity, and connection internationally. The process she engages in is trauma-sensitive, earth-connected, and inclusive of bodily and lived experience. Her work, collectively named Emergent Nature, grows through private sessions, group experiences, and training programs.
Sandrine is a Somatic Experiencing® (SEP) and Pain Reprocessing practitioner who collaborates in integrating lived experience and healing trauma, stress, and chronic pain patterns. As a Feldenkrais® Practitioner (GCFP) and former professional dancer, she offers sensory- and awareness-based movement to awaken curiosity, relate with environment, and expand self-learning. Facilitating meditation grounded in waking up to our whole human experience, Sandrine's journey in learning and practicing meditation began in 2006 in New York City.
Sandrine has spent more than a decade in somatic and meditative process with adults healing from violence, incarceration, cycles of addiction, illness, and mental health challenges. She is a Death Doula, accompanying humans in their end-of-life journey, and a grief practitioner. As a consultant, she regularly serves organizations in becoming trauma-educated.
Sandrine enjoys building community through her annual programs at Kripalu, the Omega Institute, and internationally. Sandrine lives close with nature through the stewardship of unceded Mohican land in Massachusetts, where she is heartened to continue her own healing.
