Suzy Becker is a New Yorker cartoonist and author/illustrator of a dozen books, including the internationally best-selling All I Need to Know I Learned from My Cat and the critically acclaimed illustrated memoirs I Had Brain Surgery, What’s Your Excuse? and One Good Egg. She is also an arts educator and book coach with more than 30 years of experience. Suzy was the founding arts teacher at Parker Charter School, one of the first charter schools in Massachusetts. She continues to do school visits, curriculum development, and workshops for adults across the country on illustrated memoir, creativity, and picture-bookmaking.
