Ysmael Merino
Bio
Ysmael is Kripalu's Dining Hall Manager and a familiar, friendly face to guests, staff, and faculty alike. Originally from Peru, Ysmael credits his mother for fostering his love for food and cooking, and his wife for helping perfect and improve his recipes. He has been living in the Berkshires since 2003, and at Kripalu since 2006. "I truly love what I do," he says.
