Ayurveda Self-Care Retreat

PRACTICES FOR BALANCED LIVING

Defining self-care is a unique and personal experience. Ayurveda—a system based on natural healing through strengthening the body, mind, and spirit—provides ancient wisdom and thousands of years of practice to access the truth of who you are.  

Taking care of yourself with an Ayurvedic mindset includes daily practices to soothe the nervous system, cleanse the senses, and tend to the digestive fire. Taking care of your Self is developing a continued awareness of your daily habits, what is getting in the way of thriving, and taking deep rest in a world that is restless. Small changes made over long periods of time create a lasting impact.  

Proper sleep, use of energy, and eating are the three pillars to maintain health. In lively discussions, experiential sessions, and personal reflections you will explore

  • What we eat, how to eat it, when, and why  
  • Sleep routines designed to boost energy
  • Self-massage and oil practices to help encourage self-love 
  • The benefits and tools to create an awareness practice.

Whether you are seasoned in the practices of Ayurveda and want to spend time in the community on retreat or new to Ayurveda, there is a seat for you in this circle. Slow down and find out what the wisdom of your heart is whispering to you.

Note Registered guests will receive access to an introduction to Ayurveda video prior to program start. Reviewing it prior to arriving on campus is recommended.
