Andrew Newberg

Andrew Newberg, MD, is associate professor in radiology and psychiatry and director of the Center for Spirituality and the Mind at the University of Pennsylvania. A 1993 graduate of the Penn School of Medicine, he has focused his studies on mystical and religious experience and the mind-body relationship. He is coauthor of Why God Won’t Go Away, Why We Believe What We Believe, and the new book, How God Changes Your Brain. Andrew has presented at scientific and religious meetings throughout the world, and appeared on Good Morning America, 20/20, and Nightline.
