Ann Saffi Biasetti


Ann Saffi Biasetti, PhD, LCSW, CEDS, RYT-500, C-IAYT is a psychotherapist with particular expertise in the treatment of eating disorders, trauma, and somatic psychotherapy. She is trained in MABT, Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Mindfulness, and is a certified yoga therapist. She lives in Saratoga Springs New York, where she maintains a private practice, teaches, and trains yoga therapeutics. She is the developer of the Befriending Your Body Program and professional training—a program of somatic self-compassion skills for eating disorder recovery. Her book Befriending Your Body: A Self-Compassionate Approach to Freeing Yourself from Disordered Eating was released in 2018, and her deck of cards Awakening Self-Compassion Cards: 52 Practices for Self-Care, Healing and Growth was published in 2021.
