Bobby Sweet

Bobby Sweet is a singer-songwriter, engaging storyteller, and dynamic performer. A Berkshire native and sixth-generation musician, he was selected in 2011 as a New Folk finalist at Kerrville Folk Festival in Kerrville, Texas. His songs have received honorable mentions from The New York Songwriter’s Circle Songwriting Contest, The UK Songwriting Contest, The Billboard Songwriting Contest, and The Mountain Stage NewSong Contest. He has recently returned home from his fourth U.S. tour playing guitar with Arlo Guthrie. Stylistically, Bobby’s music resides somewhere between John Prine, Jackson Browne, and a countryfied Bruce Springsteen. He is at home on the stage, whether performing solo or with his full band.
