Char Wilkins

Char Wilkins, MSW, LCSW, is a mindfulness-based psychotherapist who teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and MB-EAT programs. She specializes in working with women who have trauma histories and eating disorders. Char teaches MBCT professional training programs for health professionals, trains professionals in the application of mindfulness in psychotherapy, has assisted in professional MBCT trainings, and provides consultation in the use of mindfulness in professional settings. She serves on the board of the national Center for Mindful Eating, and is the owner and director of the Center for Mindful Living in Connecticut.
