
Craig Irvine
Craig Irvine, PhD, is academic director of the master’s program in narrative medicine and a founder and academic director of the Program in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University. Craig holds a PhD in philosophy and has been designing and teaching philosophy, ethics, and narrative medicine curricula for residents, medical students, physicians, nurses, and other health professionals for more than 15 years. Coauthor of The Principles and Practice of Narrative Medicine, Craig has published in the areas of ethics, narrative medicine, residency education, and literature and medicine. He has presented at numerous conferences on these and other topics.
