David Sells

David Sells, PhD, has served on the Yale Department of Psychiatry faculty for more than 10 years, is research director at The Connection Institute for Innovative Practice, and is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. Dr. Sells has authored scores of scientific publications concerning narrative analysis and findings, experiential depth, recovery in mental and physical illnesses, and other topics, and has served as principal investigator on funded research grants examining the utility of peer services in cancer survivorship, as well as in community reintegration of persons with criminal justice backgrounds. He has presented to audiences both nationally and internationally, and has been interviewed twice on National Public Radio on the nature of his research and findings.
