Erin Dudley

Erin Dudley started her life in New York as a dancer, shifted to performance artist and choreographer, and did a five-year stint in academia at Stony Brook University, where she taught and implemented movement and yoga syllabi. She is now program director at the Hurleyville Arts Centre in Hurleyville, New York, where she runs the Yoga Space. Erin began teaching at Kula Yoga Project in New York City in 2001. Her classes draw from her love of movement, the influence of kinesthetic anatomy, the investigative philosophy of Irmgard Bartenieff, the quiet passion of Ashtanga vinyasa, and the rigorous intelligence of Iyengar Yoga. Her alignment cues and energetic directives create a nurturing space for students to fully engage in an investigation of their physical, mental, and psychic condition.
