Gail Parker

Gail Parker, PhD, CIAYT, E-RYT 500 is an author, psychologist, educator, and certified yoga therapist. She serves as President of the BYTA Board of Directors. She is the author of Restorative Yoga for Ethnic and Race-Based Stress and Trauma and Transforming Ethnic and Race-Based Traumatic Stress With YogaGail blends psychology, yoga, and meditation to create pioneering and effective self-care techniques that can enhance emotional balance and contribute to overall health and well-being. She has a special interest in utilizing and teaching restorative yoga and meditation as strategies for dealing with stress-related conditions resulting from ethno-racial insensitivity, discrimination, and injustice. She is a nationally and internationally renowned media personality, educator, author, and thought leader.
