Jacqueline Lutz
Jacqueline Lutz, PhD, a psychologist with expertise in neuroimaging, is interested in mindfulness and related alternative approaches to mental health. During her PhD studies in Switzerland, she acquired brain images of meditators and patients with depression during states of negative emotions such as self-criticism. As a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School, she studied the clinical effects of mindfulness and self-compassion training, for example for patients with chronic pain, which was supported by a grant from the Mind and Life Institute. Currently, Jacqueline works as a scientist at Akili Interactive to understand the potential of digital cognitive interventions.
