Kristi Hughes

Kristi Hughes, ND, is a naturopathic, functional medicine physician who has dedicated her career to clinical practice and medical education. She graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1997 and began a private practice in Alexandria, Minnesota, bringing innovative approaches to health care and focusing on root-cause medicine. After 20 years of clinical experience, Kristi continues to see patients at the Dynamic Healing Center where she specializes in clinical nutrition, dietary customization, botanical medicine, personalized lifestyle medicine, and patient advocacy. She practices clinically part-time, while dedicating her remaining efforts and time to teaching, both domestically and internationally, along with working on program development and curriculum creation for the Institute for Functional Medicine and its collaborating partnerships. Kristi currently serves as director of medical education for the Institute.
