Lonnie Zeltzer

Lonnie Zeltzer, MD, is an expert in the field of pediatric pain. She holds the title of distinguished professor of pediatrics, anesthesiology, psychiatry, and biobehavioral sciences at UCLA, and is director of the Pediatric Pain and Palliative Care Program. Lonnie is also a member of the steering committee of the National Pain Strategy, charged with setting the next pain research agenda for the National Institutes of Health. She is the author of more than 300 scientific publications, reviews, and chapters, in addition to her recent book for parents, Chronic Pain in Children and Young Adults.
