Margaret Cullen

Margaret Cullen, MFT, is a licensed psychotherapist and certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher. For more than 20 years, she has pioneered secular contemplative programs for a wide variety of populations and been a lead teacher on numerous research studies. In 2008, she developed Mindfulness-Based Emotional Balance, an evidence-based program that has been piloted across the United States and Canada. She is currently a senior teacher at the Center for Compassion at Stanford University, where she contributed to the Compassion Cultivation Training manual. A meditator for more than 30 years, Margaret is coauthor of The Mindfulness-Based Emotional Balance Workbook.
